By day I work as a software engineer for a large tech company. AI has greatly impacted my daily work with my employer pushing for as much efficiency gain through AI adoption as possible. Using AI by day then bled into the outside of work areas of my life.
Some of the content here is written entirely by me. Much is AI generated where I wrote skills to direct the AI. If I were to directly author all this content, I wouldn’t be able to go into the dept or create a daily post.
I decide on what I am posting, set the parameters for the content, sketch the rough outline, and have AI generate the text. Often I iterate on the text with the AI, and the sometimes hand edit it before posting. I am no graphic artist, so AI has allowed me to generate the infographic images that makes Facebook share this content wider.
Some people object to AI generated content. I don’t want slop but am happy to use AI to boost the use of my time. If you only want 100% human generated content, go elsewhere. When I was taking Seminary classes, they had a zero AI policy for papers and when I write sermons, I will use AI for research, ideas, and analyzing my text, but all the words are my own.
